Are you ready for Star Wars: Galactic Nights? This one-night special event will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 27th. If you consider yourself the ultimate Star Wars fanatic, you definitely don’t want to miss the exclusive merchandise and special appearances that will be taking place all night long.
Star Wars: Galactic Nights is held after normal park hours and takes place from 7pm – midnight. The event celebrates all things Star Wars, and this year, will also celebrate the upcoming film Solo: A Star Wars Story. Are you intrigued yet? The one night event includes entertainment, special photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, great food and beverage options, and the chance to meet some rarely seen characters.
Disney Parks Blog shared a sneak peak of the merchandise and a few of the special events that are on this year’s roster. Let’s take a look at what you can expect from Star Wars: Galactic Nights on May 27th.
Appearance by Ashley Eckstein: Ashley is not only the voice of Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars: Clone Wars, but she is also the women behind Her Universe. If you’re even a semi-regular reader, you know that Her Universe is the awesome clothing line that brings all our favorite fandoms right to our closets! Ashley will be meeting with fans, signing copies of her new book, and talking all things Star Wars.
If you want to meet Ashley (I do!), please note that a wristband is required and will be distributed with purchase at the signing location on the day of the event. Make sure to get there early to get your wristband!
Skywalker Vineyards: stop by Launch Bay Cargo to meet Tom Johnson, the General Manager of Skywalker Vineyards. Tom will be available to sign your purchased wine or olive oil bottles from 7 p.m.-midnight (intermittently).
Exclusive Merchandise: limited-edition event-exclusive merchandise will be available featuring art from the upcoming movie Solo: A Star Wars Story, including a T-shirt, stainless steel water bottle and pin.
Droid Factory Set: head into Tatooine Traders to purchase this set of Droid Factory action figures which includes the newest Astromechs – R2-F1P, R5-232, R2-S8 and R5-PHT – featured in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
