Okay, I admit I am a little behind on this one because the holidays got the best of me BUT better late than never! The Star Wars Half Marathon weekend at Disneyland starts January 15th and goes through the 18th. You can check out all the official times for events and such on the runDisney website. For this article, we are going to talk about the Dooney & Bourke bags that have been made especially for this event!
Recently I revealed the Dooney & Bourke bags for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and explained how you can obtain them. The Star Wars Half Marathon works the same way. If you are a runner, you can preorder your bag online before you arrive at the expo, to ensure that you get one. If you do not preorder, your chances are slim that you will be able to get one but not impossible. I managed to get one this past year in Florida without preordering and I’d like to think you will be able to as well.
There are 3 bags within the Star Wars Half Marathon collection and the pattern is a little difficult to decipher up close. From what I can deduce, the characters are shown in the pattern. C-3PO, Yoda, and Darth Vader are definitely present. The bag is black with blues and greens through out the pattern. I actually really like the color palette because, many times, the color palette is much lighter which is a lot easier to get dirty. Here are the 3 bags available.
The satchel is $289.44. The Shopper is $321.84. The Crossbody, my personal fave, is $203.04.
