Even though Peter Cottontail has just hopped back down the Bunny Trail, in our opinion, it is never too early to start thinking about Christmas. And thankfully, Disney seems to agree. These Disney Ornaments are just what we needed to get back into the festive spirit if we weren’t already there.
Mickey and Friends
Mickey Mouse is leading the holiday parade. Here we see Mickey in all of his festive glory. His ears glisten in the lights. He even has some glitter on his ruby red shorts.
The second ornament is this Donald Duck ornament. I love the simplicity of it. At first, all you might see is a classic white bulb with blue glitter accents. Then, once you take another look, you might notice that the ornament is wearing a sailor’s hat. I love subtle little details like this. They often have the most powerful impact.
Next up is this Goofy ornament. It took me a little while to see that the ornament was Goofy themed, but once I realized what it was, I was very excited. Goofy’s hat is glittery, just in time for the holiday season. The ornament body has a patch, just like Goofy’s pants. Finally, the ribbon on the ornament is orange, just like Goofy’s shirt.
Mickey’s faithful dog Pluto has also joined in on the holiday fun! The body of the ornament looks a lot like Pluto’s dog tag. It has a green bow that matches Pluto’s collar. Finally, there is even a little white bone at the top of the ornament. Maybe if we are good, Pluto will share.
Finally, Chip and Dale make an appearance as an ornament set. Not only do their ornaments look like little acorns, but they also have acorns at the top of each ornament. There is even a little sprig of pine needles on each ornament.
Classic Disney Pals
I started to get excited from the moment that I saw this ornament. The Genie is one of my favorite characters and you can see his personality really shine in this ointment. The ornament looks like Genie’s body as he comes out of the lamp. His beard is wrapped around the ornament and there is even a small golden earring on the side of the bulb.
Dumbo also is here for the party. His big ears stick out from his glistening silver ball. Even Timothy mouse is represented on the ornament with a feather and a tiny peanut at the top of Dumbo’s head.
Stitch
I think that Stitch has earned his own category. While he might not be a classic Disney character, he is making his mark on Disney pop culture. The Stitch ornament has a blue chrome base and two glittery blue ears. He even has a Hawaiian flower at the top of his head. He is all set for a Hawaiian Christmas, just like his idol, Elvis.
