I am going to be the first one to admit that I had no idea the new Animal Kingdom 20th Anniversary Dooney and Bourke bags were going to sell out so quickly! They really did, though, at least online and on the ShopDisney Parks App. I have had so many messages about orders being cancelled and fashionistas scrambling to grab their very own. Let me tell you what I know.
Yesterday, I landed in Orlando and went straight to the Animal Kingdom after checking in to my hotel. I was there for opening. Aside from the many people racing to get in line in Pandora, there were also many people headed to the shops that sell the Dooney and Bourke bags. Foldovers and mini barlows were still available but the tote bags were selling out quickly. According to one of the managers in the shop I was in, they were sold out of the totes and were not sure if they were being restocked. I am hoping this isn’t the case.
Usually, when things sell out online and on the App, they do not reappear. They may remain in the Parks, though. This particular print is currently exclusive to Animal Kingdom. If you are not going to be at the Animal Kingdom, the only way to get it is through a third party.
I know this is not ideal for some but I am only here to tell you about the preferred personal shopper I recommend, if you choose this option. If you are really wanting this bag, this seems to be the only way to go. You can find these bags HERE at shopthemeparks.com.
I have already seen these bags for sale on ebay and many of the prices are higher than using a personal shopper but the choice is yours. You can always take a gamble and wait, too….
