Coming soon to a galaxy near you! Errr make that Loungefly Stitch Shoppe website near you! A new Star Wars Stitch Shoppe collection! Rebel Fighters be ready to step into a new dimension with all-new Star Wars themed attire. This wardrobe will have you saying “I’m one with the Force. The Force is with me.”
Recently posted on their Instagram account were the sneak peek photos of the new clothing. Judging from the photos, we can expect a themed skirt, bag and t-shirt. Similar to what we saw for the Neverland Stitch Shoppe collection as well.
I’m One with the Force
The Instagram posting asks “Which will you choose?” Light or Dark? Luckily, you don’t have to decide. The front of the skirt is characterized by the forces of Light. R2D2, C3PO, Princess Leia, Hans Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Chewbacca gave seriously from the front of the skirt which presents “The Light Side.” Darker Forces unite on the back side of the pleated skirt. At first glance, you’ll see a Storm Trooper and Darth Vader himself.
Upon closer examination, you’ll note a difference in fabric compared to previous releases. This skirt uses Scuba Fabric. Not familiar with Scuba Fabric, I did a little research for us. According to sewingathome.com, “Scuba fabric is a kind of double-knit material composed of spandex and polyester. Double knit means that this fabric was created with multiple sets of needles at once, connecting two layers of fabric together. Scuba material has a very smooth texture, a fine gauge thread, and a slightly springy feel to it.” It promises to be a durable material.
The coordinating black shirt features a rounded neck and displays the Millenium Falcon, Death Star, X-Wing Star Fighters, C3PO, and R2D2 floating around a yellow Star Wars Logo. Check out the awesome Comic Book themed crossbody purse. Looking closely, you can see a red light-saber on the side! Love that little accessory! Based on the comments from Instagram, I’m wondering if the back of the purse will have the dark side characters on it. Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
