Although Disney has always offered pins in the gift shops as souvenirs, the art of pin trading didn’t become a “thing” until the millennium celebration in October 1999. Do you wear your pin lanyard proudly and seek out cast members to trade with? Or do you casually collect designs you like? Either way, this year get stuck on Flower and Garden pins!
Stuck on Flower and Garden Pin
As we’ve mentioned, there are three main collections of the Flower and Garden Merchandise: Orange Bird, Figment and Snow White. The 5 pins above center around those collections with 2 Orange Bird, 2 Figment and one Snow White. Only one, a Figment pin, mentions the Flower and Garden Festival 2023.
The rest replicate the art from the collections. First, you have Orange Bird surrounded by retro flowers in multiple sizes. This pin matches everything in the Orange Bird collection but specifically uses the same design as the back of the tank top. Next, we have him “Spreading the Sunshine” with his packet of seeds. This verbiage is also on the Spirit Jersey. We’ve already touched on the Figment festival pin, so we’ll move down to the Snow White. The fairest princess posed with a few of her favorite woodland animals and flowers. I’m quite sure I need this for my jean jacket or uniform sweater. The last pin encourages you to “Let your imagination grow!” with Figment.
Annual Passholder Pins
The next grouping of pins is for Annual Passholders only! One of the perks of being an AP is getting specific merchandise that only you can purchase! The first is a set of three pins with all of our Collection Hosts. The 3 pack includes Figment, Orange Bird, and Snow White, all with flowers but of a very different nature. The next two pins sell individually but again, only for passholders. The same design Figment design that is located on the Flower and Garden Loungefly back is reflected on this pin. Figment flies above his vegetation and waters them lovingly. The last has the sweet, faced bird. He’s swinging on a flower, much like the ornament, against a background that states.
