New Disney Cruise Line Itineraries to Lighthouse Point
Now, if you have been dreaming of Disney’s new island, now is your time! Itineraries for Summer 2024 that feature Lighthouse Point as a port of call are now available!
The inaugural sailing to Lighthouse Point will be a seven-night sailing aboard Disney Fantasy on June 8, 2024. The ship will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, and make two stops at Lighthouse Point and an additional stop at Disney’s Castaway Cay. I have a very strong feeling that Michelle is going to try her hardest to be on that ship and be among the first Guests to leave their footprints on the island!
If you prefer shorter sailings (since I travel with a toddler, shorter sailings are ideal for me), Disney is also hosting a three-night preview cruise on June 6, 2024, aboard Disney Magic. The cruise will sail out of Fort Lauderdale and feature a visit to Lighthouse Point with “limited access to some areas,” according to an announcement from the cruise line.
With the limited access note, this sounds similar to a test sailing that Disney Cruise Line uses for new ships and experiences. However, even with limited access, I know the competition to be on that sailing is going to be immense!
Following these first visits, Lighthouse Point can be visited in 2024 only on Disney Magic sailings out of Fort Lauderdale. There will be three options available. Choose from three, four, and five-night Bahamas and Caribbean sailings. Make sure to pay close attention to the itinerary before booking because Disney Magic will vary stops between Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay. However, five sailings will include stops at both of Disney’s private islands for the ultimate Disney beach getaway vacation!
The entire list of 2024 Summer Sailings, including Europe and Alaska, can be found HERE.
