Today’s the day that the Disney Side Kicks Dooney & Bourke Collection dropped at Walt Disney World! But wait, there’s a twist! There’s a 4th silhouette AND one of the bags is for annual passholders!
I had shared a sneak peek of the 3 silhouettes we knew about a few days ago and we were all hoping for a fourth. We were also hoping it would drop on shopDisney today (which it did not). Luckily the fourth silhouette is one we don’t see often and is extremely versatile.
I’m going to start with the silhouette we knew about but it comes with a twist. The satchel is actually the annual passholder bag! When we saw this during the sneak peek we didn’t see a hangtag like we clearly do now. We didn’t get a passholder bag for the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival so this is extra special. This one retails for $298.
The second surprise is the fourth silhouette that magically appeared. It’s a backpack! It’s not a mini backpack (I hear rejoicing) and it’s not like the previous backpacks from Dooney & Bourke as in the Ink and Paint Cruise Line bags or the Disney Dogs bags. This is a streamlined backpack that looks super chic. Not to mention it still has a front pocket. It retails for $248.
The tote is exactly as we expected and is nice if you like a smaller tote. It retails for $268. The lining is a vibrant green on all the bags!
The crossbody is still my personal favorite. Admittedly the large tan closure on the front does make placement more difficult but anything worth having takes a little work, right?
The Magicband is perfect if you just want a little taste of this print. This is a static print so all the MagicBands will be the same. I am perfectly fine with this because all my favorites are there! This is a Limited Release and not a Limited Edition which means they should be easier to get. This retails for $48.
I know it seems like we aren’t discussing the print itself but that’s because we’ve done so at length HERE. This print is definitely one of my favorites that we have seen as of late. I am ALL about the Disney Side Kicks.
I mentioned this collection did not drop on shopDisney today as we had hoped. It is, however, all over Walt Disney World. It seems it’s almost everywhere Disney Dooney & Bourkes are sold.
