It was literally this morning that I was thinking we may have seen the last of the new 50th anniversary collections. Boy, was I wrong! It looks like there are three new 50th anniversary collections coming this Spring!
I know what you’re thinking. Can my wallet handle three new 50th anniversary collections? Maybe that’s just what I am thinking. Let’s take a look at what the Disney Parks Blog shared this morning during their first look to decide if we need a second or third job!
Disney Vault Balloon Collection
I’m starting with the one I think I am most excited about. It’s a whole Mickey balloon collection! OMG! I am obsessed and I all have seen is the sneak peek of this Spirit Jersey. I think I may end up with over 100 Spirit Jerseys by the time all the new merch drops (I have issues).
Did you know the Mickey Mouse balloon print was once used to decorate shopping bags at retail locations across Disney World back in 1971? I don’t even remember that (ok I wasn’t born yet but still).
The Disney Vault Balloon collection will include a variety of items including a bucket hat, Spirit Jersey and Loungefly backpack. I can’t wait to see the Loungefly!
The EARidescent Shimmer Collection
I think we all assumed we had seen the Earidescent collection already but this is a completely different color story! This collection features the same distinct blue and gold tones found on the turrets of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom Park.
This collection will include sparkling statement pieces such as a Minnie Mouse headband (they said sparkling!), a Loungefly mini backpack and more. The more clearly includes the Spirit Jersey but I am dying to see what else!
The Disney Vault Orange Bird Collection
Orange Bird is a fashionista favorite and I know a few of us are dying over this announcement! He’s not only being celebrated for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! Many people wonder what Orange Bird is all about. Orange Bird is a beloved Disney character that has come to symbolize Florida and its legacy in the citrus industry. Does that help?
This collection captures the groovy vibes of the 1970s through a line of retro pieces that will add sunshine to your wardrobe! There will be a denim jacket and flower power dress by Dress Shop. A new Orange Bird Dress?! I know a few of us will need that! There will also be a character crossbody bag! I hope they work well together!
This collection will release later this Spring.
Celebration Collection
Wait, didn’t I say 3 collections? This isn’t a new collection BUT it will expand to feature new merchandise! There is a new dress by Dress Shop that you can see above. I am living for the color palette! So neutral and classy!
New Dooney and Bourke handbags will also be released! I mean, that makes my wallet cry but my heart happy! Young fashionistas will be thrilled there will be more youth apparel! Plus, you’ll find Goofy, Donald and Daisy plush in their decked out celebration outfits! I have to get Daisy!
I know I will be stalking shopDisney for these releases!
