It is very hard for me to believe that March is already here. I am not quite ready for swimsuit season (I feel of the New Years Resolution wagon a long time ago) and I wasn’t expecting to have to worry about it yet. I was taken a back yesterday when I walked into Hot Topic and saw the new Disney inspired swimsuits that have started to make an appearance!
There were only 4 at the Hot Topic near my house but when talking with the fabulous sales associate, I realized there were probably more online. There are. I can’t believe how cute and unique this year’s designs are!
Every year there is a version of an Ariel inspired bikini. This year, there is not only a bikini but a one piece, as well! I admit that I love that there is a one piece this year. I didn’t have time to try it on so I can’t attest to sizing but I am definitely going back. The wonderful thing about Hot Topic is that they carry sizes all the way up through plus size 5! That means these Disney inspired swimsuits are made for fashionistas of all sizes (as they should be!).
This new Belle inspired bikini is the one that first caught my eye and it was hiding on the bottom row. It should be front and center because it is unique! I adore the yellow and white gingham design. The ruffle and the lace front are really different from anything I have seen. The rose detail is inspired and, just in case you don’t know the inspiration, Belle’s name is found within the design trim. These also come in regular and plus sizes!
This Jasmine inspired bikini was not yet at the Hot Topic I was at but I was told more designs are on their way and I am assuming this is one of them. It’s sheer perfection! The top is literally Jasmine’s top and the bottom is just like the top of her pants. There is even the jewel detail on the top. The ruffle sleeve detail is cute but clearly just for show because there is also a strap for those who need it. All sizes available for this one, too.
Rapunzel finally has a swimsuit at Hot Topic. She has a large following and people were sad she missed out last year. The back of the suit is where the fun design is on this one. the lace up details on the front are lovely but the back is truly lovely. If you aren’t a fan of tan lines, this might not be your favorite.
