Have you ever wondered why the major rides at Disney Parks are known as ”E ticket” attractions? Back when Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom first opened, you would need to purchase tickets or a ticket book to go on the rides. The least popular rides required “A” tickets while the most popular rides required ”E” tickets. These Disney ticket book coasters celebrate those bygone days and might be my favorite Vault Collection item thus far! Plus, they’re only $24.99!
First up is the ”A” coaster that lists rides like the Main Street Vehicles and Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel. Also, the box labels these as coasters but they would make amazing trinket trays or just display pieces!
Then there is the ”B” ticket coaster that includes attractions such as Frontierland Shootin’ Gallery and Swiss Family Treehouse. It’s hard to believe that they were considered more popular than Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel!
The ”C” ticket coaster lists many of the popular Fantasyland rides including Peter Pan’s Flight and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.
Next up is the ”D” ticket coaster which includes a wide variety of attractions from the Hall of Presidents to the Skyway.
The ”E” ticket coaster includes what was considered the creme de la creme like It’s a Small World, Jungle Cruise, and The Haunted Mansion. I’m a little surprised to see Tropical Serenade (known today as the Enchanted Tiki Room) listed but it is a fun show!
These were spotted at Disney Springs but some of the Vault Collection items have shown up on ShopDisney. We’ll keep an eye out for them! If you are hoping to grab this, and it doesn’t show up on shopDisney, you can reach out to our preferred personal shopper @shopthemeparks on FB or IG and she can help you out!
What do you think of these Disney ticket book coasters? Were you lucky enough to visit the parks when they had these books? Let us know in the comments!
