I love taking a look at the newest Dooney & Bourke bags regardless of what the print is or where they can be purchased. We have looked at all the different runDisney prints (hopefully the Princess Half marathon print will be revealed soon!), the individual prints for Walt Disney World and Disneyland respectively and now it’s time to look even further away. Recently, I had very good friends go to Disney’s Aulani resort in Hawaii and they sent me the pictures of the Dooney & Bourke’s exclusive to Aulani. I want to share them with you now. Let’s take a closer peak at all the prints!
The first bag I want to show you is a medium sized bag with a lovely artist’s rendering of the resort. You can also find Mickey and Minnie Mouse enjoying the Hawaiian way of life on the beach in front of the resort. The colors are vibrant and tropical, as they should be for a bag made for a Hawaiian resort. I think this bag is my favorite of the collections.
This is standard cross body bag in a print that is reminiscent of many other Disney Dooney & Bourke bags. This one, however, has tropical flowers, beach scenes and our favorite mice, Mickey and Minnie, hanging on the beach and even surfing. There is also an image of the resort itself. This print reminds me very much of the Disneyana collections for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland except the images are specific to Aulani.
This print is very similar to the Disney Sketch Leather Collection that is available at the Disneystore.com with the exception, of course, of the images. They are images of different tropical plants, the name “Aulani” and other images specific to the resort. I like the fact that the brown leather is less cartoony than the other prints but I do enjoy vibrant colors as well so I am torn. I still think my favorite is the first bag I’ve shown.
