Well, folks, they’ve done it again! This Cakeworthy Disney 100 Collection is headed to a closet near me. I have to have every last piece of it and that’s no lie.
Tops
Cakeworthy is throwing it way, way back with their latest collection. The first item is this Three Little Pigs Crewneck Sweater. One thing that I can say for sure about Cakeworthy is that everything that I have purchased from them, in terms of flannels and sweaters, is always extremely warm. While I don’t have this sweater yet, I am certain that it will be as well. The sweaters usually have a fuzzy lining, that will keep you warm and toasty on even the coldest days. The sweater itself has a vintage black and white Three Little Pigs design, inspired by the original artwork from the movie.
Another throwback item is this Steamboat Willie Flannel. This super warm, black and white flannel has the Steamboat Willie poster screen printed on the back. I enjoyed reading the design and seeing that it said sound cartoon. Calling a cartoon that is a real throwback, if there ever was one.
The final shirt is this Mickey Mouse Club Crop T-Shirt. The second that I saw the shirt, I started singing the opening song from the show. This shirt is sure to cause some serious humming wherever I go. Once I get this shirt, I’ll be ready to throw on my Mickey overalls and a pair of ears and head to the parks.
Bottoms
Talking about pants to go with the Mouseketeer crops, you’ll want to grab these Mickey Mouse Print Denim Shorts, if you haven’t already. While we have seen several Mickey denim items, what makes these really stand out is the black and white retro Mickey faces. I also like that the designers remained true to the vintage theme of the collection and used black denim, instead of blue.
I was jumping for joy when I saw this Mickey Mouse Tie Up Jumpsuit. Retro Mickey heads smile all over this fun outfit. It has effortless style. This jumpsuit will make all of my other clothing envious because it will be spending very little time in my closet all spring and summer.
Accessories
There are also several new accessories in this collection. The first is this Mickey Mouse Club Bucket Hat. This black hat has the Mickey Mouse Club logo front and center. While the design is retro, bucket hats seem to be really in right now. If I was going to make a prediction, I would guess that we will be seeing a lot more bucket hats in the coming months.
The final item is this Mickey Mouse Club Crossbody Bag. This bag has it all! An adjustable strap, two zip pockets, and the throwback Mickey Mouse Club logo. It even says “Howdy Folks” (Yes, be honest, you did just read that in a Mickey Mouse voice! It’s ok, I did too!). I think the thing that I love most about this bag is that it looks like it’s made out of leather. My inner rebel really appreciates that and I know that I’ll feel like I’m living a little bit on the wild side, whenever I have this bag with me.
