In so many ways, I love Disney Villains way more than their hero and princess counterparts. Their stories often have multiple layers that makes them very relatable and keep me coming back for more. From the instant that it was announced, I knew that I was going to need all of the new Cakeworthy Villains Collection so that I can make their story part of my fashion fairytale.
Shirts
While Cakeworthy has always been known for their shirts, they have been releasing a wider variety of shirt options and I couldn’t be more pleased! This Prince John Mesh Top is just one of the shining examples of what we’ve been seeing. I love the facial expression that he has. Prince John doesn’t always get a lot of attention when it comes to merchandise, so I’m so happy to see that he is here. This is a very airy and breathable top, which makes it a winning option for the summer months.
There is also the Hades AOP T-Shirt. You can’t go wrong with an AOP tee. Just look at that smolder! Pain and Panic are even there to join in on the fun. This tee is particularly impressive because of all of the different poses that Hades is in.
Bottoms
Next up is another fun summer look! The Poison Apple Denim Shorts are here to show the world that you are ready to take a bite out of life. They are casual and cute at the same time. They have just enough Disney magic to keep you coming back for more, but the apples are subtle, so you wouldn’t necessarily see what they were at first glance.
Outfits
I absolutely have to have this next item! The Queen of Hearts Rose Dress is smoking hot! The Queen runs all over the dress in front of beautiful red roses. I can hear her screaming now!
If you are looking for something a little bit more casual then this Villain Print Hoodie and matching Villain Print Joggers are about to be your new best friends. Don’t let the lovely lavender background and grins on the villains’ faces fool you, they really are all up to no good.
Accessories
If you need a perfectly wretched way to complete your look, then look no further than the Cruella Chain Crossbody Bag. Cruella looks crazy as she drives her car on the front of the bag. There’s even a stylish chain attached to the bag. It looks like the epitome of the perfect fashion statement! I’m sure that Cruella would approve.
On the back of the bag, we see the words, “You Idiots! You Fools! You Imbeciles!” in red lettering. It looks like Cruella wrote on the bag with her lipstick. And if you adore the bag as much as I do, you’ll have to have the Cruella Card Holder. At only $15.95 you’d be crazy to pass on the opportunity to get it.
Flannels
Finally, is it really a new Cakeworthy collection without a few Flannels?! I don’t think so! This collection has several flannels for us to choose from. The first is a new Maleficent Flannel. Maleficent is looking particularly mean on the front of the shirt. If you were like me and questioning if she was really evil, one look at the flannel, and your mind would be made. They aren’t joking around when they called her the Mistress of Evil.
The words “A Forest of Thorns Shall be His Tomb” can be seen on the back of the shirt. Whenever I see it, I hear the words being read in a very eerie tone.
Finally, there is the Yzma Flannel. If you aren’t sure who Yzma is, go watch the Emperor’s New Groove and then finish reading this post. You won’t be sorry. It’s, in my opinion, one of the most highly underrated Disney movies of all time. Like Maleficent, Yzma is looking particularly evil on this flannel. Maybe she is upset that she is on a flannel in the middle of the summer.
On the back we see one of the famous lines from the movie, “Pull the Lever Kronk!”. The colors of the shirt also remind me of the potion that Yzma has.
