Did you know that we celebrate the Festival of Holidays on both coasts? Disney World and Disneyland celebrate a festival about the holidays and different cultures but in completely different ways. The East Coast hasn’t started the celebration yet but it’s in full swing at California Adventure! That means it’s time to check out the merchandise!
From November 8- January 6, 2020, the Festival of Holidays takes place at Disney’s California Adventure. If you’ve never heard of this, it is a celebration filled with multicultural music, food, and fun! You can celebrate Christmas and Kwanzaa with holiday songs. Mariachi Divas put a fun spin on holiday classics and Mostly Kosher honors Hanukkah with musical styles you may not have heard before. Honestly, there is so much to do, you really need to see it for yourself! What I can help you with is your shopping list. What is the best souvenir to bring home after you’ve celebrated this fabulous festival?
The artwork for the Festival of Holidays features images from many of the different celebrations that take place at this time of year. The luminaries, drums, and menorah are just some of the images you will find. Mickey stands proud amongst them ready to celebrate it all! This is a passholder tee, as you can see on the back. There are more passholder exclusive items to pick from, too!
Here I go wishing I had an iPhone just for a phone case. I love that the festival celebrates so many cultures and the purple in this case is my fave!
Pin collectors will obviously choose this passholder pin celebrating the Festival of Holidays. I’m thinking this is the route I need to go because changing phones just seems like too much trouble.
If you aren’t a passholder, fear not! There is a variety of merchandise for you to choose from, as well. This tee is actually my favorite of the choices. The front has that cute pocket but the design on the back is even better than the passholder design in my opinion.
Mickey and Minnie are celebrating the festival together on the non-passholder merchandise. I do like the shade of green in this design. It’s so hard to choose!
What do you think of the Festival merchandise this year? Do you prefer the passholder or non-passholder merchandise?
Are you going to Disney’s California Adventure to celebrate the Festival of Holidays? Perhaps you’ve been meaning to book that trip and haven’t done so yet.
