There is a new Princess Dooney & Bourke Collection that is about to dance into hearts! The design is giving fashionistas mixed reactions so let’s take a look!
Thanks to our friend, Kathy Howell, we have pictures of the display at Uptown Jewelers at Magic Kingdom! The display showcased 3 different silhouettes of the new Multi Princess Collection. At a glance, there will be a tote, backpack, and satchel (I think that’s a satchel) all released on Monday, July 25th.
Now, let’s talk about this pattern. You should know, it’s giving the Disney Fashionista family mixed feelings, I admit. I, personally, really like the pattern! It’s wonderful to see that Princesses like Rapunzel, Mulan, and Moana are being included (though Snow White and Princess Aurora are markedly missing). The artwork is definitely a different look than what we are used to but I don’t think this is a bad thing. There have been many princess bags and a new look allows me to grab a new one! I don’t need 3 or 4 Princess bags with the same kind of look.
Take a look at each individual Princess. Ariel is brushing her hair with a dinglehopper. Belle is looking at the Enchanted Rose. Mulan is holding her sword. Tiana is looking at Prince Naveen in frog form. Cinderella has her glass slipper and Jasmine has the magic lamp…. It’s perfection! All of the features we love about each Princess are included and that makes this design special.
I don’t have the prices or know if these will drop on shopDisney Monday morning but we do know they will drop at Uptown Jewelers and (if I had to guess) other locations that carry Disney Dooney & Bourke bags on property.
