It was only a week or so ago that we announced the new Winnie the Pooh Dooney and Bourke Collection and fashionistas everywhere went crazy! I admit that I had no clue that Winnie the Pooh was such a favorite but I am in the know now. I am happy to say that the new and adorable Winnie the Pooh Dooney and Bourke Collection is here!
This collection was set to be released on shopDisney today. That did not happen. It was noted that shopDisney changed the date on their graphic to “late July.” I am not sure what happened there but I can say that the collection was still released! It just happened to be in person and at Ever After Jewelry Co in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. I can honestly say I am not sure if it was released on the West Coast at this time. I have no confirmation.
This collection was discussed in our previous article HERE but let’s look at the new details we know. There are 3 pieces in this collection (as we knew) and here are the prices:
- Tote $298
- Letter Carrier $198
- Wristlet $158
The pattern of this release is that of all of Winnie the Pooh and his friends and it featured on another white background. I don’t really mind this but I think it would have looked even better on a light yellow background… maybe to simulate honey! That’s just my 2 cents worth.
This collection will still release online later this month, as we have been told. I will give a word of caution. When I wrote about this release, the reaction was insane. I have not had this reaction to a print since the Disney Dog Dooney release and we all know what happened there. If you want this bag, I would definitely get myself to the Parks, stalk the shopDisney website or be prepared to use a personal shopper.
If you are thinking you want to take the personal shopper route, I recommend shopthemeparks.com and you can even pick your placement if you choose this route. Remember, even if you choose a personal shopper, it is still limited to what is available at Disney. That means it is still not a guarantee.
