There’s a new Disney Parks Designer Ear Hat, and it is themed after Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway! The attraction will open tomorrow, March 4th, and this ear hat designed by Disney Imagineer Kevin Rafferty will be released on March 5th! What’s really cool about this is that Kevin Rafferty is actually the Executive Creative Director for the attraction!
This colorful ear hat features Mickey and Minnie on top having a picnic! Mickey is serenading Minnie with his guitar and singing talents! This scene is actually from the cartoon featured at the end of the new attraction! There is a train on a track around the base of the hat, and the ears feature fireworks! If you flip a switch, the fireworks actually light up!
The back of the hat says “Nothing can stop us now,” which is a quote from the attractions new theme song! There is even a little hidden Mickey on the back of each ear!
There are even more magical surprises with this ear hat! If you flip it over to look inside, you will see Mickey and Minnie taking a scenic car ride on a gorgeously sunny day!
What makes this Disney Parks Designer Ear Hat release even more special is that on March 5th from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, Kevin Rafferty will be available to sign your hat! He will be at Stage 1 Company Store in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! He will also be signing copies of his book, Magic Journey: My Fantastical Walt Disney Imagineering Career!
