Her Universe is celebrating 30 years of The Little Mermaid with a new collection at Torrid! The new Her Universe Ariel Collection is a mixture of playful signature colors, mermaid-inspired textures, and whimsical silhouettes, to make us feel like the mermaids we were meant to be!
The little mermaid was honestly one of my first favorites, I sang “aah aah aah” in the bathtub and pool every time for years! I’m so excited that Ashley has designed this incredible new collection, and I can’t wait to dive in!
One of the things I love about Her Universe collections is that there is always great outfits, as well as lounge and athletic wear. I’m a sucker for PJs so the Ariel lounge tank, and mermaid scale pajama pants are totally calling my name.
The Georgette Ariel blouse has a subtle mermaid print mixed with starfish and seashells that makes a great piece to wear on its own, or layer.
I keep wanting to say each piece is my favorite, but honestly, I just love each item so much! The Ariel Lace Tank features a graphic of one of my favorite Little Mermaid scenes. Pair that with the fabulous mint color and lace trim, and we’ve got a winning look.
The Ariel Watercolor Maxi Dress is so stunning, I’m almost tempted to sign my voice away for it. The ethereal chiffon dress features a flattering flounce and hi-lo hem, and is accented with metallic seashells!
You didn’t think there would be a Her Universe Little Mermaid collection without Ursula, did you? Ursula will have us running to keep our land legs with this athletic ensemble. Tentacles writhe up from the hem of the Grey Ursula tank, while a swirling purple tentacle pattern covers the Ursula Leggings.
For a bit of mermaid scale sparkle, there is a sensational lightweight Sequin and Pearl Sweater with ruffled cuffs, and Scale Print Shorts with a frayed hem. These pieces look incredible together, but both make for a great mix and match pieces.
Torrid also has a new update on an old favorite. The Ariel Mermaid Bikini makes its return, but with a few style changes to keep it fresh and on trend.
Last but not least we have the Seashell Romper, which is a chic style that features Ariel’s signature colors. This lightweight romper has flutter sleeves and a flowing fit making it perfect for a beachside getaway, brunch with the girls, or even a day at the Disney Parks. This is a great piece for dressing up or down with accessories too.
