It’s about time Disney Cruise Lines! Finally, new internet has arrived on some of the ships (the rest are on a rollout schedule)! This workaholic just found a way to combine work and pleasure!
I know many of you like to unplug while cruising and I admit that I like to do that, too. However, when you bring along your senior staffers on a Disney Cruise, there’s no one left to run the show. Internet is key. Thanks to the Disney Wish and its new internet packages, I didn’t have to worry about that!
I’ve had a lot of people ask me about the packages so I am going to give you the low down right here. There are 3 plans. You can choose to have internet one day or all the days! You can even choose whether or not you want it on multiple devices! I actually choose to have it on my phone and computer so we could write and give you live videos on FB as well. It worked out perfectly!
I got the Premium Surf plan because I was doing live videos and sending lots of pictures. If you don’t need to be doing those kinds of things the lesser plans will work for you. If you purchase a lower level plan and find it’s not good enough, you are able to upgrade it! Just talk to guest services!
As far as how well it worked, it was like being on land. I had no issues! I was shocked! Why? Well, anyone that cruises on Disney Cruise Line and tried their previous packages knows not to expect it to work well. Finally, I don’t have to worry about it!
The new internet packages are available on the Disney Wish and the Disney Magic. I believe the Dream is next (from what I heard from cast members). I’m not sure how quickly it will be rolling out on the other ships but hopefully quickly!
For those of you that want to unwind, there’s no need to get the package. Treat it the way you used to and enjoy your relaxation. However, for those of you that were skeptical to sail because you needed access to work stuff, there’s a chance for you to cruise now!
