Another month and another round of Loungefly pre-orders to drool over. The new Mary Poppins Loungefly collection is a Jolly Holiday and is perfect for fans of the classic film.
I am absolutely, head over heels, in love with this collection! It is plain to see that this bag is going to be stunning in real life and I cannot wait for it to arrive on my doorstep! The illustration features Mary Poppins and Burt enjoying a Jolly Holiday as they promenade across the pond with the help of some turtle friends.
The light pink of the overall bag coordinates perfectly with Mary’s dress and adds an overall springtime feel to the bag. Based on the concept art, we cannot fully see what the back of the bag says. However, I am willing to bet that it reads “Jolly Holiday.” We do know that the interior lining will look like, and of course, it is gorgeous as well!
The dancing penguins have always been my favorite part of the film, so I love that they are in the spotlight here.
This Mary Poppins Loungefly collection also includes a coordinating wallet. Of course, I had to pre-order that as well!
I really love that the artwork for the wallet is different than the artwork used for the mini backpack. On the front of this piece, you can see Mary and Burt on their carousel horses (another favorite scene of mine). The back features the happy, dancing penguins. I just love them!
The Jolly Holiday Mary Poppins Loungefly mini backpack is still available now for pre-order on sites like CordysCorner and ThreeLittleMingos. The wallet is sold out for pre-orders but should be available when it is actually released in May!
