June is Pride Month and every year Disney releases a rainbow collection in recognition. This year, with everything going on in the world, I know I am even more excited than usual to see a collection that is full of color and love.
Before I share all of the goodies (and there are TONS of new goodies), you should know that in honor of this collection Disney is donating $100,000 to GLSEN. GLSEN is a leading education organization working to create safe and inclusive K-12 schools for LGBTQ+ students. In other words, you can shop for some lovely items while supporting a great cause. Man, I love Disney.
This is Disney Fashionista so I need to share all the tee shirt styles available in this collection! There are so many choices! What I love is that there is literally something for everyone. If you enjoy print, you’ve got it. If sparkle is your statement of choice, there’s a tank for you! White tee, black tee, grey tee… the basics are covered.
When I first saw this I thought it was a Spirit Jersey but it is actually a fleece pullover. There is nothing on the back. This is a simple statement piece. Mickey heart hands around a rainbow is all the statement this top needs.
There is so much more to this collection than just clothing! Mickey and Minnie plushes are always a fab favorite and I think these are spectacular. Minnie is sporting the rainbow as well as her classic polka dots. Well done, Disney.
Last year, the Rainbow Collection was called, Love Comes in Every Color, and we saw an Ear Hat as well as many Ear headbands. I only see one pair of Ears so far this year but it’s a stunning pair. These are Mickey Ears, as there is no bow, and that makes them much more encompassing for everyone to wear! I adore the word Love embroidered on the side with Mickey’s head as the “O”. Not to mention the fact that even the word is embroidered in rainbow colors!
Sometimes all you need is a light-up necklace to make everything better. A rainbow light up necklace with lights shaped like Mickey heads could be the best necklace of all time! I actually would love a string of lights like this but these will suffice!
It’s rainy season and a rain jacket is always handy. This one is much cooler than a poncho (and I’m not talking temperature wise). If you look closely you will see icons of the castle, Mickey balloons, Ears and park treats! I have the Park treat rain jacket from last year but I can always use another. This one is calling my name.
There are really too many things for me to put in one article so I am going to end with this Mickey-shaped tumbler. We’ve seen this one in silver before (I have it!) but this one is supreme! The way the colors fade are beautiful I would happily tote around my summer bevvie in this tumbler.
