I am a huge fan of park hopping, so I’m super excited to say that the Park Hopper Option is returning to Walt Disney World Resort in January 2021! Although there will be modifications from the former ways of park hopping to ensure Guest health and safety, you’ll still be able to pack more magic into your day!
Starting January 1, 2021, Guests who have purchased a ticket or annual pass that includes the Park Hopper option will be able to visit more than one park per day! Guests still have to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for their first park of the day and must enter that park before visiting another. Once they visit their first park, they will be able to visit other parks without a reservation, though that is of course subject to change.
Another modification is that there are specific “Park Hopper Hours” when Guests can take advantage of park hopping. This is the only time that guests can park hop, and these hours will start at 2 pm and end at the park’s scheduled close time each day. These times are subject to change, so make sure you check online or on the My Disney Experience app for updated hours! Remember, your visit to another park is subject to the park’s capacity limitations, so there isn’t a guarantee that you will be able to visit. That being said, I am super excited about this news!
