Loungefly has gone to the dogs, in a good way of course! The new Pluto Loungefly Collection has arrived, and it is totally paw-some! This is a cosplay collection that recreates the character as style pieces.
Did you know that Pluto first made his way to the silver screen in 1931 in the Mickey Mouse Cartoon, “The Chain Gang”
The collection includes a mini backpack and a flap wallet. Each piece has Pluto’s adorable face lovingly recreated on the front, with some fun doggy details for extra magic. My son’s first favorite character from Mickey and the gang was Pluto. So Pluto has always had a really special spot in my heart.
The backpack is just doggone cute! The entire bag is the same golden yellow as our favorite pup and is encircled with a green band just like his collar. Appliques and embroidery are woven together to recreate his friendly gaze, including a wagging tongue, and ears perked up high! His name tag also “hangs” from his green collar to complete the look.
Another fun detail is a bit of embroidery on the back corner of the bag. Pluto’s dog house, complete with his bowl and bone, has been stitched into the backpack for a woof-tastic look!
The lining inside is also a-fur-able! Inside the bag, you’ll find a golden yellow lining with paw prints, and Pluto’s signature in green!
The complimenting wallet is also just as cute! The wallet includes appliques that match the backpack, including die-cut 3D ears! It also has his name tag as a zipper pull, sooooo cute!
