The battle of Good Vs Evil is well known in fairy tale world. With the success of Maleficent this year, it’s not a wonder why makeup collections are using this as their muse for the latest makeup collection available outside of Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The new Disney Princess Beauty Collection is comprised of e.l.f.’s beauty book and makeup brushes, SOHO’s makeup bags and Conair’s compact, Ardell’s fake eye lashes, and Kiss’ Nail Art Kit. I love every piece of this collection and, as much as I absolutely adore the Beautifully Collection by Disney, this is more affordable and easily accessible to Disney fans. Let’s take a peak at what is good and what is evil in each piece of the collection.
E.l.f.’s Beauty Book is entitled ‘’Let the Drama Begin’ and it comes with 12 eye shadows, 2 lip glosses and 1 brightening eye pencil. The colors are divided into the day look- Beauty and the night look- Evil. This is pure genius! All you need to transcend from a day to night look in one convenient kit. There are no brushes included in this beauty book so, if you don’t already have your own, e.l.f. has conveniently released a brush set which includes a travel case. These professional brushes include a blush brush, powder brush, foundation brush and an eyeshadow brush. If you are new to the makeup world and are using these brushes to break yourself in, they are even marked on the handles as to which brushes they are to help you out! Very clever. The case has both Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty on the cover. It is understated and classic.
The cosmetic bags are made by SOHO and include a clutch set, a large clutch, a mini weekender train case, and a mini bowler bag. Each of these cases stays in theme with Good Vs Evil, with both Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent present on the cosmetic bags. There are such a variety of sizes and shapes that there is sure to be at least one case to suit your fancy.
Conair has a lovely compact with the Good Vs Evil artwork on the cover ($3.99) and Ardell has fake eyelashes with packaging that matches the theming of the collection ($7.99)
Last but certainly not least is the KISS nail kit selection. I know that not everyone is into wearing makeup and that is a personal preference but I have noticed that many people are obsessed with nails! This collection is really all about art for your fingernails. It’s even called a Nail Art Kit! They look a little intimidating at first glance, with all the small pieces that are included, but for the affordable price of $9.99, it’s worth testing your artistic side in my opinion! There are four kits in all: Kiss Good Vs Evil Nail Art Kit Briar Rose (Blue), Black Magic ( Black and Silver), Hedge of Thorns (Purple) and True Love (Pink).
This entire collection from e.l.f., SOHO, Conair and Ardell and KISS is sold exclusively at Walgreens and is crazy affordable at $9.99 per item (with the exception of the aforementioned items)! This is an amazing way to get your Disney on in the cosmetics department and not break the bank. It’s selling out quickly in stores but some items are still available online at Walgreens.com.
What do you think? Are you good or evil? I personally want to try them all! Let me know what you’d like to try in the comment section below!
