When I first saw the movie Wall-E, I must admit, I was not impressed. I didn’t really get it at first. Over the years though, that little yellow robot has managed to wheel his way into my heart. There’s something about his big eyes that gets me every time. While Wall-E is cute enough on his own already, Loungefly has partnered with Funko Pop! to make the Wall-E Earth Day Collection and the cuteness factor is out of this world!
The Wall-E and Eve mini backpack will take you deep into outer space. Wall-E stands behind Eve holding a plant in a boot. The black background is dotted with little white stars. Eve’s head unzips to reveal a small pocket, perfect for putting your cellphone in. Turn the backpack over and find Wall-E with the words “Cleaning the Earth, one cube at a time”. The black bag is accented with shiny, silver colored hardware.
In addition to the mini backpack, there is a wallet also available. The wallet was actually the first item in the collection that I saw and it made me want to look for other items! Wall-E and Eve float around the starry night sky, holding on tightly to their precious plants. A boot with a plant in it also flies around with the cute duo. I really like the loving way that the two robots stare at their plants.
The final bag in the collection is a Crossbody bag. Wall-E’s HUGE eyes stare out lovingly from the purse. They make me want to pick him up and cuddle! The back of the Crossbody also has cuteness overload! Here we see Eve peeking out from one of the corners with a plant in her hands. The starry night background on all of the items really makes the collection for me. It’s very different and I don’t think that I have come across it too many times when it comes to purses and backpacks.
In addition to the bags that I have just talked about, the Wall-E Earth Day Collection also includes a set of enamel pins and an enamel keychain. You can go online and pre-order the entire collection today! I think now I am going to go watch Wall-E on Disney + and try to give the movie another chance. What did you think of Wall-E?
