It didn’t take as long as I thought it would (thank goodness) but the Walt Disney World AP Loungefly backpacks have finally arrived!
These backpacks are stupid adorable. There are images of all 4 parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Cinderella Castle can be found prominently as well as the Tree of Life, Tower of Terror and Spaceship Earth.
I love that the classic characters are on it especially Chip and Dale, as they do seem to be the mascots of the 2018 merchandise. Minnie, Mickey, and Goofy are also pictured. Epcot fans will be happy to see that Figment is also featured!
Now, as with any Loungefly (or Dooney) placement is everything. Not all bags are created equal. They are also not created in massive quantities so the early bird may just get the worm when it comes to placement (and the bags for that matter) with these.
These are available at the Emporium on Main Street U.S.A at the Magic Kingdom. They were in Tomorrowland but were sold out by 8:30am this morning. Doesn’t mean a restock isn’t in their future but just a head’s up. They retail for $75.
Now, if you are really wanting to get confused, the above photo was taken at Disneyland. It is the Disney World bag with a Disneyland AP tag. Not sure what this is all about. I know the Disneyland bags were sold out so I am guessing this is their solution. Take that for what it’s worth.
These will not end up on the App or online. They will be sold out soon… most likely today. If you are looking to get your hands on one and won’t be in the Park, check with our preferred personal shopper HERE. They are at the Parks today and may be able to help you.
UPDATE- They have now been found at Epcot and Hollywood Studios, as well!!
