Winter is not my favorite season. It just got more stylish, however, thanks to the release of the Walt’s Holiday Lodge Dooney & Bourke Collection!
We just got a sneak peek of this collection a few days ago and, thankfully, we didn’t have to wait long. It is said to release at multiple locations at Walt Disney World today including, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Disney Springs! There are 3 silhouettes available, as we saw in the preview. There is a tote ($298), satchel ($268) and crossbody ($198). The crossbody is my personal favorite and it will be added to my collection today! The reason, however, might now be what you are expecting.
I fell in love with the pattern from the moment I saw it. The wood background and the characters frolicking about are only part of the appeal for this Disney Fashionista. The lining (that we weren’t aware of when first writing about this collection) solidified my love. It’s PLAID! It screams Winter to this Canadian! I know that not everyone cares about the lining but I sure do!
Sure, it’s fab to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy and Chip ‘n Dale playing in the snow. It’s just so much better with the lining! I also love the fact that this bag is for Winter and not just the holidays!
