Once upon a dream, there was a Princess who liked to be a little edgy sometimes. It’s me, I’m that princess and this fierce new Sleeping Beauty Loungefly backpack from BoxLunch is the perfect blend of Disney whimsy and villainous edge.
I won’t lie my favorite part of Sleeping Beauty is Maleficent. Okay, maybe also her wicked powers, and the sleeping curse! I might also really like naps, so I relate to Aurora on that level as well. This bag embraces those of us who like the darker tales. It is an alluring dusty black faux suede and is even adorned with gothy red roses.
A silhouette of Aurora, with the spinning wheel and thorns, is debossed on the front flap of this drawstring backpack. Three-dimensional roses also adorn the corners, for a sensational and textured look. Aurora’s castle is also screen printed on the bottom corner, with a dark shadow of thorns and roses encircling it.
The back of this Loungefly bag also has another hidden element, or two. Not only does Maleficent’s silhouette rise from the bottom, but one of her spells is also there! That’s right, the back of the back has her spell towards Prince Phillip cast upon it. The words “A forest of thorns shall be his tomb, borne through the skies on a fog of doom!” Chilling, but so fierce!
This new Sleeping Beauty Loungefly backpack is available now at BoxLunch HERE, for $69.90. What do you think of this dark and enchanting new backpack?
