It’s been a while since we have truly seen a new print or design in the Disney Dooney & Bourke Family. Fortunately, the upcoming collection features a very misrepresented character! A Pocahontas Dooney & Bourke Collection is coming, and it’s going to be popular!
I know this isn’t a lot to go with, but we can see some very important details! I spot Grandmother Willow, Flit and Meeko right there with Pocahontas! If you look at the wallet, you will spot the leaves floating (yes, I just busted out a chorus of Colors of the Wind!).
The colors are simply stunning! The different shades of blue really allow Pocahontas to stand out!
In the sneak peek image on the Disney Store website HERE, we only see the wallet and the tote. I’m not sure if there will be more silhouettes, but at least we are getting something! Poor Pocahontas is left out of so much, and I feel like she is finally getting the recognition she deserves! I have always loved this film, and I had the honor of meeting Irene Bedard at the House of Mouse Expo a couple of years ago. I wish I had had this for her to sign back then!
This Pocahontas Dooney & Bourke Collection is set to release on March 9th on the Disney Store website HERE. Sometimes dates get pushed, and we will update you on these changes. In the meantime, are you excited to see Pocahontas finally get recognized?
