The Magic Is In The Details
Now, I have to discuss this amazingly adorable painting! It features Donald and Daisy enjoying an afternoon at the beach with Huey, Dewey, and Louie! Like all Thomas Kinkade Art, the magic is in the details! Donald is taking a selfie of his little family, but if you look closely at his phone, you will see that the case actually features one of my favorite Thomas Kinkade Studios pieces, Mickey and Minnie in Hawaii! The wooden bench in front of them features a heart with the initials “D+D” engraved inside of it. Chip and Dale are also on the path behind them! You can spot Chip pointing at the seagull that is flying toward Donald. Down on the beach, you can spot the rest of the gang! Mickey and Minnie are playing volleyball with two of their little Mouse relatives, and Goofy is throwing a frisbee to Pluto. Scrooge McDuck is even using a metal detector to look for treasures hidden in the sand! I truly love how much thought is put into these paintings!
