One of my absolute favorite ways to spend date night is dining at Disney. From the theme parks to Downtown Disney, to Disney Springs, to the resorts – of all the Disney Date Night Restaurants there is a perfect one for every couple! Today, we are looking at what I consider to be the Top 10 restaurants that are perfect for date night and are NOT located at the parks. I’m focusing on Walt Disney World Resort in this post, so if you are headed there soon, make sure to pick one of these fabulous restaurants and plan out your own Disney date night.
These Disney date night restaurants are listed in no particular order. Honestly, it was hard enough to narrow it down to 10 options, there is no way I could rank them too! How many of these restaurants have you already eaten at?

There is nothing more classic for date night than dinner and movie! AMC DINE-IN offers a full service menu for you to enjoy while you catch the latest Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, or Marvel film. This movie-dinner date night combo is located in Disney Springs, so it’s easy to get to and offers the opportunity to walk the shops before or after dinner.
Perfect for film buffs, entertainment gurus, or just any couple looking for a fun night out! Plus, AMC DINE-IN offers way more than your typical popcorn and soda offerings. An assortment of snacks (ex: Ultimate Chicken Nachos, Chicken Wings, Loaded Bacon Tots or Fries), flatbreads (ex: Artisan Pepperoni, Capreses, BBQ Chicken), entrees (ex: steak quesadilla, taco trio, fish and chips), bowls, salads, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, and sweets complete the menu. Perfect for any picky eater, there really is something for everyone here. And of course, they have popcorn too if that’s what you’re interested in.
House of Blues
Get dinner, listen to great music, and enjoy the incredible atmosphere of Disney Springs when you have your date night at House of Blues. There are two different dining opportunities here: House of Blues Restaurant and Bar (indoors), and House of Blues – The Front Porch and The Smokehouse (outdoors). I actually prefer the outdoor option, particularly for date night. There is almost always free live-music outside and the food from The Smokehouse is fantastic and budget friendly! You can splurge with a full table service dinner and ticketed concert, or you can have just as amazing of a time with free music and quick-service dining.
Some of my favorite items from The Smokehouse include the pulled pork sandwich, smoked beef brisket sandwich, and smokehouse nachos! So good!

California Grill
Located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this fine dining option lets you take in the sights of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom while you dine. Did you know you do not have to be a resort guest to enjoy the amazing resort restaurants? It’s true! You and your sweetie and have a date night at the Disney Resorts any time!
Menu items include artisanal hand-formed pizzas from the wood-burning oven, hand-rolled sushi, delectable entrees such as Black Grouper, Oak-fired Filet of Beet, and Grilled Pork Tenderloin, as well as a selection of tempting desserts.

The Edison
Date night at The Edison is all about atmosphere! This hot-dining spot in Disney Springs is decorated in lavish, industrial gothic-style and hosts classic American cuisine, craft cocktails, and unique entertainment. It is even designed to look like a 1920s electric company! This is the perfect place for date night because it exudes an air of romance and Old World sophistication. Plus, must be at least 21 years of age to enter The Edison after 10:00 PM.
Oh, and let’s not forget about the food! Start off the evening with DB ‘Clothesline Candied Bacon’ and Electri-Fries. For an entree, try one of their amazing burgers or go for one of The Edison’s “Patented Specialties.” I HIGHLY recommend the Organic Tomato Soup and Gooey Grilled Cheese. It is simply delicious and oh-so-satisfying. And of course, you must finish the night with a dessert and a night-cap.

Now that you’re looking your best and ready to dine in style, you’re sure to find something delicious on the Flying Fish menu. Appetizers include Lobster Bisque, Prince Edward Island Mussels, Snow Crab Croquette, Kurobuta Pork Belly, Wisconsin Burrata, and more! Um, I’ll take one of each, please! Narcoossee’s
Also located at Disney Grand Floridan Resort & Spa, Narcoossee’s offers a casual waterfront setting for coastal cuisine with spectacular views. The setting may be casual, but the food is anything but! Just a few of the delectable offerings include Cider-braised Mussels and Cream, Endive, Pear, and Gorgonzola Salad, Pan-seared Line Caught Swordfish, Butter-poached Twin Cold Water Lobster Tails, and Pan-seared Georges Bank Day Boat Scallops.

Wine Bar George is located in Disney Springs and is the perfect date-night escape for wine and food enthusiasts. This estate-style wine bar features wine and food masterfully paired by Master Sommelier George Miliotes. You and your date can swing by for lunch, dinner or late-night sips and bites—or reserve a table in advance. I always suggest reserving a table in advance!
Wine Bar George’s menu has everything from small plates (Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites, Grilled Octopus Salad, Shishito Peppers), to Artisanal Cheese and Charcuterie Boards, to Entrees (Santa Carota Short Ribs, Grilled Whole Greek Sea Bass), to desserts (White and Dark Chocolate Trifle, The Chocolate Experience). The Boathouse
My husband and I recently had our own date-night at The Boathouse and spent a wonderful evening watching the sunset over the water. Located at Disney Springs, this centrally located restaurant boasts great food and great views! Ask in advance for a table on the porch to get the full effect of this setting.
Grilled Fresh Fish Tacos, Broiled Wild Caught Swordfish Steak, Orecchiette Pasta in Pesto Cream, Shrimp & Andouille Mac & Cheese – these are just a few of the offerings from this seafood filled menu.
