There is some sad news regarding Limited Edition Merchandise releases at Walt Disney World. Disney has announced that new collection product launches and limited-edition merchandise will not be available for in-person purchases at Walt Disney World Resort until further notice.
We can continue to find these items on shopDisney, but they will be subject to availability. This is kind of heartbreaking! Especially for those of us hoping to find the Disney Parks Designer Ears, and Minnie Main Attraction collections at the parks soon!
Merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort will continue to carry favorite Disney items. There will be some modifications to the shopping experience. These modifications will help manage capacity and foster physical distancing. Dressing rooms will also not be available.
Pin Trading will continue to be available with Cast Members. This will be done through the use of pinboards in select locations. At this time Cast pin trading with lanyards will not be available. This will be to maintain physical distancing.
Package deliveries to the front of the theme parks or to Disney Resort hotels will also be suspended. However, they will be offering to ship to Guests’ homes still.
In-person returns will be available upon the reopening of merchandise locations.
