Wackadoo! Bluey is Coming to Disney Parks and Cruise Line

Bluey fans are rejoicing today! The Walt Disney Company has announced that Bluey is coming to Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and Disney Cruise Line. I have been in permanent Dance Mode since learning this!

Bluey is Coming to Disney Cruise Line

Beginning in January 2025, onboard Disney Cruise Line voyages originating from Australia and New Zealand, families can interact with Bluey and her sister, Bingo, like never before. From special meet-and-greets, to an interactive and clue-filled game that ends in a dance party featuring Bluey’s signature moves, families in the region can embark on a magical holiday with their favorite blue heeler.

Bluey in the Parks

According to The Walt Disney Company’s official release, the producers of Bluey are working closely alongside BBC Studios and Disney on a number of special activations for fans to enjoy. Details about how guests can meet Bluey and her family at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will be shared in the months ahead.

While we do not know official details yet, I have two theories on what might be coming. Okay, they are not exactly theories because they are not based on any actual facts. They are more like “I really, really, really hope this is what happens!”

Disney Junior Play n’ Dine Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine

Currently, the Disney Junior Play n’ Dine Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios features Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, Roadster Racer Goofy, and Vampirina. As a mom to a four-year-old boy who loves Disney Junior shows, I can say with confidence that he is not interested in meeting any of these characters. He just does not know who they are! My number one wish is that Bluey and Bingo revamp this Character Dining experience!

Star Wars Launch Bay

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the place to be for Star Wars fans. However, the experiences are spread out all over the park. First, there is Galaxy’s Edge, which is the main destination for fans of the franchise. However, there are also Star Tours in Echo Lake and Star Wars Launch Bay in Animation Courtyard.

Hmmm…Animation Courtyard…I know of an animated show that is coming to the Disney Parks and could use its own space. Let’s put Bluey there!

I would love to see Star Wars Launch Bay transformed into a Bluey-themed experience. The entire building could be revamped to look like areas from the Heeler’s house with play areas, interactive experiences, and character meet and greets. Just imagine a space to play Keepy Uppy, Statues, or Dance Mode with Bluey and Bingo. Plus, with other Disney Junior friends like Fancy Nancy and Vampirina meeting just outside, this entire area could become the go-to play for preschool families.

Again, both of these ideas are completely my own and are only based on the wish list that lives in my brain. The Walt Disney Company has not released any details on how Bluey will be incorporated into the Disney Parks.

Are you excited that Bluey is coming to the Disney Parks and to Disney Cruise Line? Where and how do you want to see them incorporated? Let us know in the comments below.
