I am so crazy excited to be able to give you the information I just learned about. When the Disneyana Dooney & Bourke Collection was revealed for Disneyland, everyone was wondering what would happen for Walt Disney World. Would they get a similar collection and when? We had no idea. There was no news to be had. Yesterday, one of my sources was able to get info on the new collection. Not only was there info but we now know that these bags are available at WDW in some of the stores. That is how we found out they were out. Apparently, they were accidentally released early but that is just here say. It would, however, explain why there is no information about them anywhere. I am just so thrilled that they are here!!!! Courtney, from mousetoyourhouse.com, also has these bags available for you to buy and I will tell you how to get your very own from her!! Let’s take a closer look at the new collection that we are calling WDW Disneyana because of it’s similarity to the Disneyland Disneyana handbags….. truthfully, we aren’t even sure what this collection is called. It is that new!
There are 5 different handbags in this collection and they are of the typical Dooney & Bourke styles. The pattern on each of them is the same, though, as you know, no 2 Dooney & Bourke Disney bags are the exact same because the placement of the pattern is always somewhat different. This pattern is on a white, leather base fabric and it displays different iconic characters and attractions from around Walt Disney World. If you look closely you will see Cinderella’s Castle, Spaceship Earth, The Ear Tower, Jungle Cruise, Tree of Life and more! Mickey, Pluto, Minnie and Donald are also running amuck. It is colorful and fun and everything you would expect out of a Dooney & Bourke handbag that focuses on Walt Disney World
The smallest in the collection is the wallet. It has a zipper closure which makes it extra secure. It would be a perfect match to any of the larger bags.
My favorite is the Letter Carrier, as usual, because of it’s cross body capabilities and the fact that it is big enough to hold what I need but nothing more. I also love the zipper pocket on the front.
The satchel is a little larger and can be used in a variety of ways including handheld or cross body. It holds more than the letter carrier but isn’t too bulky. It’s a cute small-medium sized handbag.
The tote bag is a standard tote bag and can hold a lot of those items you may need to carry with you, especially if you have a family with you. It doesn’t have a strap to transition to a different style and must be carried by the handles. It does have a larger surface area so it also displays more of the graphics!
The Smith bag style is a fan favorite because it is a bit more unique in design. It can be carried a multitude of ways and has the cutest little front pocket. The fact that it is more unique and a larger bag also makes it the most expensive.
If you are interested in any of these bags and aren’t heading to Disney World any time soon (though I am sure they will sell out quickly), head on over to mousetoyourhouse and order. Courtney does an awesome job of picking out the best laid graphics on each individual purse and gets them out to you quickly.
I hope you are as excited about this news as I am!! It’s been 2 months since we learned about the California design and now we have the Florida pattern!!! Did you know the WDW Disneyana collection was coming this soon? Which is your fave bag? Let me know in the comment box below!
