Disney is collaborating with everyone the past year or two to create a multitude of fashion and beauty collections. Whether it be accessories, makeup or clothing, Disney x fashion is having a huge year! Many of the collaborations have been for those with a larger fashion budget (think Kate Spade, Gucci, Coach). While others are more on point with the average fashion budget allowance (Danielle Nicole, Sephora, Uniqlo, Vans). The latest collaboration to hit the stores is Disney and Gap but will the new collaboration have adult fashions?
What do we know about this collaboration? Not much. Teen Vogue has reported that the collaboration will be hitting stores October 2016! That’s just around the corner! The collection will include Mickey and Minnie Mouse on assorted tops, dresses, bottoms and even outerwear. The Gap is an affordable store, comparatively speaking, so I would assume the collection will be within many fashionista budgets.
The collection is said to only be released in GapKids and babyGap which means, unless you are one of those lucky adults that can wear the larger kids clothing, you will not be wearing the Gap Disney collection. There will not be any adult pieces in this collection that we know of. I am hoping that Gap sees how successful all the other Disney collaborations have been and decides to release adult sizes as well!
