Eventhough I would love to have a pair of these Magnificent shoes – I think I would love to win them for my daughter. Life everyone in my family we just LOVE Disney and I think it would be a great present for her for Christmas. Like all four of my daughters my youngest is fabulous and she just loves to wear handmade items and she is very artistic and she would just love them.

I would love to win these to give to my friend, actually. She is going through a divorce and has been battling depression and anxiety. She’s a DA who loves Rapunzel. These are so neat! I’d love to win these to give to my daughter. I’m so proud of her! Not only does she handle her type 1 diabetes like a pro, but she’s doing great in school. She had a tough year last year and her grades showed it. But she’s in ninth grade now and has all A’s and B’s!
I always have to tell my husband what I want for Christmas or my birthday so this would be a perfect gift for him to give to me!!
My 26-year-old Angeleno niece Lucia has been a Disney girl her entire life, from the memorized videos and Halloween costumes, to the themed birthday parties, the naming of her childhood pets as “Jasmine” and “Lady,” and the inevitable Disneyland visits — all like many girls of her age, but with her own distinct flare. When her cousins (four boys!) got a little aggressive with the four-foot Ariel pinata at her 4th birthday, she looked on in horror, then cried out, “I’ll save you, Little Mermaid!” Throwing herself into the fray, she pulled the character to the ground and rocked it, sobbing that she was so, so sorry.
Later, I took the lovely soprano she was becoming to her first musical, the touring Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast. Thence Lucia played Belle in her college production, the first ever at its conservatory to have SRO ticketing once word of her remarkable performance sold out the last weekend in advance.
Now a film and television make-up artist, Lucia works very long hours, and recently saw a doctor over an exhausting respiratory infection she couldn’t shake. Before conducting a chest x-ray, they asked the usual question to confirm she was not pregnant; she realized she hadn’t had a proper cycle in a while, rather a surfeit of cramping and clotting. A few tests later, Lucia was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer.
I don’t know about ‘deserving’ the utterly charming shoes, but I’d like to think the characters Lucia has so long loved could be a talisman for her, carrying her through this critical time as lightly and gracefully as a pair of glass slippers.

I want to win these for my best friend. She just lost her husband of 11 years unexpectedly at the age of 40. She is a huge Disney fan and I want to do something really nice for her since she is spending all her time and energy taking care of their three children (and one on the way). I am a huge Minnie Mouse fan!! And have always wanted a pair of custom Minnie mouse shoes. I work as a nurse often with smaller children before going into surgery and I stay with them as they recover from the anesthesia. On days I have pediatric patients i try fun kid friendly things while still following dress code and let me tell there aren’t much that fall into that area. So being able to wear this and even use them to distract my little patients during unpleasant procedures would brighten not only my day, but my little patients and their worried families.
