The movie commemorating Disney’s 100th Anniversary finally gets its own Dooney and Bourke collection. Despite the movie releasing in November 2023, the design did not release with the movie Stateside. We did catch a glimpse of it overseas, however. But this beautiful design was worth waiting for! Wish for a New Dooney and Bourke!
The collections currently consist of two items. First, a stunning tote bag. Whether you fell in love with the movie, or not, everyone can agree on the alluring artwork on this purse. The front features a watercolor scene from the movie featuring Asha and the adorable Star with a forest backdrop. You can literally see the Disney magic trailing behind Star. The backside of the tote offers a simplistic contrast from the front. The talking, pajama-wearing goat, Valentino, frolics with Star against a solid black background. The tote retails for $298.
The wallet mirrors the tote in the design. Notice on both the tote and wallet the Dooney and Bourke metal plate take a rectangular shape versus the typical square. That allows for more space on the wallet for the spectacular artwork. With the smaller shape of the wallet, you see more of the castle depicted on the design and less of the forest fauna.
