Most have you have probably heard by now about the Disney Destiny news being unveiled in a 3 day reveal starting July 30th. Maybe, however, you haven’t seen some of the sneak peeks that a select few received via a clue box that was sent by Disney Cruise Line! Let’s take a look if your Destiny awaits!
I will tell you that I didn’t receive a clue box but our friends at Small World Vacations did and they shared the clues with us! There are clues to what kinds of characters we will find and we can speculate which will be bars, shows and restaurants! The one thing we know for sure is that it will be Heroes vs Villains!
This fabulous graphic artwork by Miriana Puglia was included in the package. It is a hint to the characters at the heart of the stories on the Disney Destiny! What I’m choosing to take away from this is that Minnie is a superhero! That and the fact that Maleficent and Cruella are in the corner… could we get a Villains inspired bar?!
Included in the box was a Disney Destiny bag and patches that illude to things and characters you will find on the ship. You can create your own design with the patches on the bag! Above are the patches that were included.
There are clearly hints at Marvel which makes sense as we know there is a Marvel restaurant on both the Wish and Treasure. This is the 3rd ship in the same class so it would make sense that there is a Marvel restaurant. Could Olaf be a clue that Frozen will also be a restaurant or even the show on this ship? The skull makes me think there might be a Pirate inspired bar? Again, we see Minnie as a superhero and I am really hoping that means there is a show along these lines!
Of course, we will know more on July 30th- August 1st with the news on Disney Parks Blog. Other rumors I have heard is that the sales will open to the general public on August 9th. The ship sets sail in December of 2025. August 9th is coming quickly! I don’t know if that’s true but I need time to plan!
