It is hard to believe that we will soon be ringing in a new year! Along with resolutions and new diet plans, each new year also brings new merchandise to Disney! The 2019 merchandise has already started to appear in the park shops. I recently saw some brand new 2019 pins and a lanyard in Discovery Trading Co. in Animal Kingdom.
The starter pin features Mickey Mouse, Cinderella’s Castle, and the Walt Disney World Railroad. It even shows the opening date of Walt Disney World along with the (soon to be) current year of 2019. It retails for $9.99.
A booster pin set is also available. The Fab Five each have a dated pin, and Pluto gets one too! Donald, Daisy, and Minnie are enjoying different park treats while Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto look to be enjoying a fun stroll. The entire set retails for $29.99.
Every good pin set needs a lanyard to go with it! The 2019 lanyard is reversible! The same pattern is on both sides, but the background is blue on one side and gray on the other. It costs $14.99.
