The Oscars is arguably the most fashionable night in Hollywood and this year did not disappoint when it came to gorgeous gowns. In fact, if you look a little closer, you may notice that many of the red carpet looks appear as if they were inspired by Disney Princesses.
I mean, who wouldn’t want to step out on the red carpet looking like a Disney Princess? I know if I were walking the carpet, my go to look would be inspired by Disney royalty!
Alicia Vikander is striking in her yellow gown with jewel embellishments. We can’t help but draw comparisons to another gorgeous brunette who looks stunning in yellow.

As I was watching the Oscars, I was stunned by Saoirse Ronan’s gown. She looks absolutely gorgeous and during the pre-show I even said out loud “she looks like mermaid!” Well, one particular mermaid to be exact. Of course, I’m referring to Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
Heidi Klum always looks like a Princess. I mean, she is a SUPER MODEL! But at the Oscars, Heidi was definitely channeling Rapunzel in her lavender gown with flower details.
Nobody would dare keep her in a tower when she is looking that beautiful!
For me, Cate Blanchett really stole the show with her breathtaking light blue gown. I only think Cinderella herself could have worn it better.
This dress was truly fit for a Princess!
Cate Blanchett wasn’t the only one inspired by Cinderella at the 2016 Oscars. Giuliana Ranic’s dress looks eerily similar to Cinderella’s wedding gown.
From the color, to the delicate pastel flower details, this dress could take you down the red carpet and down the aisle!
Of course, all of the women looked beautiful Sunday night. However, there is just something extra special about adding a little Disney magic to your ensemble!
