Pixar Day at Sea Coming in 2023 to Disney Cruise Line!

You read that right, Pixar fans – Pixar Day at Sea is coming to select Disney Fantasy cruises from January through March 2023. These sailings include “a day-long celebration dedicated to the beloved tales of Pixar.” An entire day to dine, dance, sing, swim, and play alongside your favorite Pixar characters? Sounds like a dream come true!

The Pixar Day at Sea will include a Pixar film festival, exclusive merchandise (which you know we’re excited about here at Disney Fashionista!) and photo opportunities. 

Characters

Get the chance to play and interact with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep from “Toy Story”; Mike, Sulley and Boo from “Monsters, Inc.”; Joy and Sadness from “Inside Out”; Dug and Russell from “Up”; and Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone from “The Incredibles.”

Entertainment

Pixar Day at Sea has fun and immersive activities from day to night! Join your favorite characters for a family dance party bash before enjoying a first-of-its-kind theatrical experience that brings “Coco” to life through live music and puppetry. After that, end your Pixar Day at Sea with a nighttime spectacular that helps you and your family become superheroes and help the Incredibles save the day!

Dining

My son is going to be so excited for the interactive character breakfast hosted by Woody, Jesse and Bullseye – complete with sing-a-longs, cowboy serenades and country breakfast fixins! Then in the evening, enjoy a Pixar-themed dinner with dishes inspired by California, where Pixar Animation Studios is located. Plus, Animator’s Palate, part of Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining, allows guests to meet friends from “Finding Nemo” and interact with Crush. In other words, it’s totally sweet!

The Disney Fantasy departs from Port Canaveral, Florida and sails to several guest-favorite ports in the eastern and western Caribbean. The Eastern Caribbean sailings visit ports like Tortola, St. Thomas and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Western Caribbean sailings feature stops in Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman; and Falmouth, Jamaica. In addition, I’m happy to report that every cruise also includes a visit to one of my personal favorite places – Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay!
