No matter how old I get, I am never too old for stuffed animals! I can’t get enough of them and they are currently taking up more room in my bed than I am. Build-A-Bear has a special place in my heart. I remember my first one. It was a monkey. My Aunt Katie took me to Build-A-Bear as a special Christmas treat. I still have the monkey even though my aunt is no longer with us. Now, Build-A-Bear seems to have jumped on the Stitch bandwagon and has released the Stitch Collection. I’m excited to add one of these crazy aliens to my growing collection!
The first item is Stitch himself. Stitch is ready to play as he smiles and waves out to his friends. It almost looks like he is a dog. Now I understand why Lilo thought that he was at first. This is actually one of my favorite stuffed versions of Stitch! He looks so friendly and happy to be around.
When you get a Stitch, you have the option of adding a sound. The soundbox includes six different sayings. I really like the one where Stitch asks for a hug and the one where Stitch describes himself as cute. When Stitch’s voice asks you to be part of his family, I also get a little emotional.
In addition to Stitch, you can also bring home, Angel. Her soft pink colors really pop on this adorable plush. She looks like she’s just asking to be picked up and cuddled.
Finally, if you are looking for something a little different, then the Tie-Dye Stitch plush is for you! When I first saw this little guy, I thought that he might be Stitch and Angel’s baby because he has the perfect combination of pink and blue in his tie-dye. Stitch wears a plaid bow tie and has matching plaid ears. He’s all dressed up and ready to hop in your Easter Basket! I would just be very careful because knowing Stitch, I am sure that he will try to eat everything that the Easter Bunny left!
