I know I am not going to be the only one that just can’t wait to show off my new Lion King Dooney & Bourke bag! The collection is here and it is magnificent!
I know we were all hoping for a surprise silhouette in this collection that we have been talking about for over a month. Sadly, there aren’t any surprises that dropped online. This collection will also drop at the Disney Parks today, however, so you never know what we will find there!
There are 3 silhouettes, all of which were sneaked beforehand. We have a tote ($328), drawstring bag ($318) and crossbody ($248). Regardless of the silhouette you choose, the pattern is the true star of this collection! The artwork is outstanding!
The crossbody does have a zipper on the front which is definitely convenient. This pattern is one that won’t be destroyed by that zipper, thankfully! It’s a busier pattern and sure to host Simba in a way that you will love!
We’ve been seeing a lot of this drawstring bag in recent collections. I’m too paranoid for this bag because I like the security of a zipper. I do love the shape of the bag though! The pictures from shopDisney for this silhouette do show the lining, however! A stunning green lining that is the perfect complement to the foliage within the pattern!
The tote looks to be on the larger side which I love. I use my Disney totes for my computer when I travel and this would be perfect! The trim really pops and the red handles are the perfect match to the colors within the pattern!

I just can’t wait to show off my new bag! I think it will be perfect for a day at Animal Kingdom! I’m one that likes to match my bags to the Parks I go to. I know. I have a problem. Are you excited to add one of these bags to your collection?
