The newest of the Disney Royal Ball collection, which premiered in 2013, has been revealed and it does not disappoint! The Disney Royal Ball collection is the first ever line of Quinceañera gowns ‘inspired by the inner qualities, personalities and stories of the Disney Princess characters’, according to a release from Disney Consumer Products. These gowns are designed with the young Latinas in mind, as they celebrate their very special day. This year’s collection has new designs which are inspired by Frozen’s Anna and Elsa!
I will say this, I am finding myself wishing that I had a Quinceañera to plan for. I mean these dresses are spectacular. There are thirteen dresses in all and each one represents a different Princess in a fun exciting way. Vibrant colors and creative embellishments along with immaculate details make the dresses worth the price tag, in my opinion, with MSRPs ranging from $530-$999. Here a few of my favorite dresses from the collection.
Anna and Elsa- I’m discussing these two together, as the sisters would want me to. Anna’s dress has a modest top with a covered collar bone and beadwork whereas the bottom of the dress is fun and playful, just like Anna. Elsa’s dress is clearly inspired by the frozen winter feel of snow and ice, with that fabulous icy blue fabric. The beadwork is elegantly placed to shimmer and represents, what I deem to be, the ice crystals she can create with her magical powers. This dress is nothing less than magical.
Tiana- Tiana’s dress is one of my favorites because of it’s cleaner lines. There are no frills or ruffles and the top is elegantly designed with scrollwork that adds a certain sophistication to this gown. Not to mention that this dress is pink, which is my absolute fave color! This gown is a confident one and Tiana is most definitely an independent, confident princess.
Rapunzel- This dress is my absolute favorite from the entire collection. I know Anna and Elsa are in all their glory at the moment but there is something to be said about this exquisite design and how it encompasses all that Rapunzel is. She is a true princess and the exquisite cap-sleeve bodice with it’s bejeweled collar and beaded scrollwork is truly fit for a princess. The gold color in the bodice is reminiscent of the lanterns she so adores and the skirt, very subtly, has organza flowers through out… just as she would want. The stunning color is regal, in my opinion and if I can find any place at all to wear this, I plan to!
There are nine other princesses represented in the collection. Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the Corona de la Princesa gown complete the collection. The 2015 Disney Royal Ball spring collection is available in the U.S. and Canada now at specialty and formal retailers and is also available for pre-order from select retailers. The dresses are available in a wide range of sizes, from 0-20. What do you think of these exquisite gowns? Which one is your favorite?? Let me know in the comment section below!

I think Sleeping Beauty’s is my favorite. I love the skirt on that one. 🙂
