I don’t know what is happening in the world but I feel like everything I thought I knew about Disney releases is being turned upside down! Just a couple of years ago, you knew you had to be at the Expo for the runDisney event that you wanted merchandise from. That theory is no longer valid. My example? The runDisney 2017 Princess Half Marathon Weekend Dooney and Bourke bags are now available…. on the Shop Disney Parks App!
I spend a lot of time looking at the App because I am always finding the coolest things. This time around, I learned that just one short week after the 2017 runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, the Dooney and Bourke bags are being made available to the public! I have no idea how many are available but I can tell you the same thing happened after the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and those bags are also still available.
Now, there are only 2 of the 3 silhouettes available. The wristlet must have sold out. I know that many of you wanted this print and here’s your chance. I am not going into great detail about the print because we did that a while ago. I just want you to know here’s your chance!
Are you excited these Dooney and Bourke bags are being made available to the public? Do you feel you need to run the race to own one? Let us know what you think in the comment box below!

I live on the west coast and this isn’t new…This has been happening out here for the last two years. Every run (with maybe the exception of the Disneyland Half Marathon) have shown up around the resort available to buy. They only take the ‘Half Marathon’ tag off the bag.

I wish I could say the same for the East Coast. Personal shoppers were making a living off of the runDisney merchandise alone. That is clearly changing and we are now following suit with the West Coast, I suppose.
