It isn’t quite Christmas without a visit from Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the Muppet gang! Fans of The Muppet Christmas Carol have something extra special to look forward to this holiday season. A brand-new collection inspired by the beloved film is heading to DisneyStore.com on October 19 at 8 AM PT (11 AM ET), and the sneak peek has me ready to start decorating for Christmas!
Disney Store has shared a preview of the upcoming collection. From a festive Loungefly mini backpack to adorable collectible figures, this release is packed with holiday nostalgia.
A Muppet Christmas Carol Loungefly Mini Backpack
First up is a gorgeous red Loungefly mini backpack that captures the festive spirit of the film! The design features Gonzo as Charles Dickens alongside Rizzo the Rat, complete with their signature Victorian-inspired outfits.
The backpack has a beautiful red finish with decorative holiday greenery surrounding the characters. A dimensional green and red bow adds the perfect finishing touch. I especially love the festive details and how the characters really pop against the rich red background.
This is definitely a bag that could make an appearance at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or during a holiday visit to Disney Springs!
Adorable Muppet Christmas Carol Plush Characters
The collection also appears to include a lineup of plush characters inspired by the film. The preview shows familiar faces dressed in their Victorian holiday best, including Kermit as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit, and Fozzie Bear as Fozziwig.
We also get a look at the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come, along with other characters from the story.
The details on these plush characters are absolutely adorable! From their tiny outfits to their expressive faces, they look like they stepped right out of the movie. I can already picture these displayed on a mantel or tucked among Christmas decorations.
Collectible Muppet Christmas Carol Figures
The preview also features a selection of miniature character figures displayed on festive green boxes decorated with Muppet artwork. Among the characters shown are Gonzo, Rizzo, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and other familiar faces from the film.
These little figures would be perfect for creating a holiday display on a bookshelf, desk, or mantel.
Disney Store hasn’t revealed all the purchasing details in the preview, so we’ll have to wait to see whether the figures will be sold individually, in sets, or as mystery collectibles.

The new Muppet Christmas Carol Collection is scheduled to arrive at DisneyStore.com on Monday, October 19, at 8 AM PT (11 AM ET).
Pricing and additional product details have not yet been announced in the previews.
The Muppet Christmas Carol has become a holiday tradition for so many Disney fans, and I love seeing the film receive its own merchandise collection. Between the Loungefly backpack, plush characters, and collectible figures, there is plenty to get excited about!
