Do you feel like Elsa has taken control of your weather? It’s been especially cold and icy this year! But don’t worry, Spring is just around the corner! How do we know? Because The International Flower and Garden Festival begins in less than 1 month! Disney Parks Blog revealed bright new merchandise celebrating 3 decades of Flower and Garden.
3 Decades
Let’s start with the merch! The Spirit Jersey is simple and elegant. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the festival, the usual Disney logo on the front is replaced with an orange holding the number 30. The back design uses flowers and citrus to accent the verbiage. This minimalist artwork is a departure from recent years with a full back design I’m also hoping this means there is a large Orange Bird collection!
Flower and Garden Merchandise
Spike the Bee is back in black…and yellow! The friendly pollinator is featured on the festival Lug Skeeter bag. Who’s afraid of bees when they’re this adorable? Also new this year is a Spike the Bee Shoulder pal. I’m sure there will be plenty of Spike friends buzzing around the park!
Wonderland makes an appearance at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival. It’s a perfect fit with all the beautiful colors and lively flowers. I sure wish I could hear singing flowers! Instead, we welcome the stunning merch. At this time, we see a sneak preview of ears and a teacup set. I cannot wait to see what other items the Alice in Wonderland collection has.
Celebrate the Festival
With the 30-year anniversary of the festival, we anticipate many amazing surprises. New this year, a Moana and friends themed topiary display will greet guests as they enter the park. Photo inspirations are everywhere. Commemorate the day as Magic shots abound, including a new Figment Topiary theme! With festivals, comes fantastic new foods, and this year Epcot welcomes two new seafood-inspired Outdoor kitchens. After enjoying culinary excellence, stop by World Celebration to take a new garden inspired by Inside Out 2. Epcot then invites you to “turn over a new leaf” with horticulture themed food and activities at CommuniCore Hall.
