Disney Discovery: Storybook Vase

A friend of mine recently decided to build a room for her books in her basement. All of the walls are lined, from ceiling to floor, with bookshelves full of books. Inside the room is a single puffy chair. She plans on sitting there, reading, all winter long.

While we can’t all be like my friend, this vase will begin to help us feel like we are entering the fairytale world we love while staying at home. The vase has three of our favorite classic tales: Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White. I am just crazy about the details on each of the fake books. The artwork on Rapunzel has to be my favorite because it has the color scheme from the movie Tangled but the drawings look more retro. It is the perfect blend of old and new. The design on the Cinderella book looks very regal, while the Snow White book has more of a garden or woodland theme.

This Storybook Vase can be used as your typical flower vase, if you choose. At the same time, there are so many other things that you can do with it. For example, a teacher could use it as a pencil holder. It could also be a bookmark holder in a library. Or even a place to store kitchen utensils. The possibilities are as big as your imagination, and we can’t wait to hear what you come up with.
