It was less than 2 weeks ago that we shared the sneak peak of the merchandise for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Tonight, our writer Lindsay was at the very first party but noticed something that was quite absent. There was not a stitch of the Hocus Pocus Halloween party merchandise we had seen in the sneak peak! So, where was the Hocus Pocus merchandise at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
Tee shirts, pins, ornaments, totes and MagicBands were all supposed to be present at the party and fashionistas were super excited about the release. Not that the other merchandise wasn’t fabulous but we all know that Hocus Pocus has a cult like following.
After speaking with Guest Relations, we learned that the merchandise did not show up in time for the first party. Not only that but they don’t necessarily expect that it will show up at all. Another site had mentioned rumors that there was a legal snafu and the merchandise would not be present but I have no way to confirm if that is the real reason or not.
Bottom line, if you were hoping for Hocus Pocus merchandise this year at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, you are going to be out of luck for at least a little while. I promise to keep you posted if we learn more on the topic.
